ボックス買いの点数は「何頭選択したか」で決まります。
3連複ボックスの組合せ数計算方法は、以下の通りです。

的中しやすく高配当も期待できる
3連複ボックスは、的中しやすく高配当を期待できます。
選んだ馬すべての組み合わせで買うので外れることがなく、3連複ボックスは、単勝や馬連よりも平均配当が高くなります。
とはいえ、単勝や馬連に比べて、的中率の低い馬券です。
回収率を上げるためには、的中率も高めなければいけません。
的中率を高めるには、確実に3着以内に入る人気馬を探し出すことが重要です。
3着に入ると予想できる馬が1頭いれば、残り2頭の組み合わせを予想するだけで済みます。
的中率を上げるために重要なことは、いかに信頼度の高い人気馬を探すかです。
信頼度の高い馬を見つけたら、さらに人気馬をもう1頭絡めたり穴馬を複数頭絡めたりと、幅を広げるのがおすすめです。
信頼度の高い馬を探すときは、実力だけでなく性格も考慮しましょう。
実力はあっても気性が荒いと、力を発揮できないことが少なくありません。
安定感のある馬を絡めると、高配当を期待できるでしょう。
競馬初心者でも簡単にできる軸馬の選び方として、単勝人気が3番以内の馬を選ぶのがオススメです。
実際、単勝人気3番以内の馬が馬券に絡む確率は、平均して約93％もあります。
3番人気以内の馬を軸に据えることで、軸馬が馬券に絡むことがほぼ確定するため、相手馬(中穴)選びに時間をかけられます。
3連複ボックスのデメリット
3連複ボックスのデメリットは以下の通りです。
・無駄な買い目が増える
・馬券代が増える可能性がある
無駄な買い目が増える
3連複ボックスの1つ目のデメリットは、無駄な買い目が増えることです。
3連複の的中は1通りしかないため、3連複6頭ボックスで的中した場合、20通りのうち19通りは無駄な馬券になります。
3連複ボックスは選択した馬の数に応じて組み合わせが増加するため、的中時の払戻金が薄まる可能性があります。
場合によってはマイナス収支となることも。
組み合わせ数が多くて当たりやすいメリットは、無駄な馬券で利益が減るデメリットにもなるのです。
期待値の低い馬券をカットして、期待値が高い馬券だけを購入することを目指しましょう。
期待値の計算方法は、的中率×払い戻しオッズです。
例えば、的中率が50％で払い戻しオッズが3倍の場合、計算式は0.5×3となり、期待値は1.5になります。
的中率が1％で払い戻しオッズが40倍の場合、計算式は0.01×40となり、期待値は0.4です。
オッズが高い＝期待値が高いわけではないことが分かります。
実力があるのにオッズが高い馬(過小評価されている馬)を見つけましょう。
馬券代が増える可能性がある
3連複ボックスの2つ目のデメリットは、馬券代が増える可能性があることです。
ボックス馬券は、選んだ馬の数と組み合わせに応じて賭け金が増加します。
しかし、前述した点数早見表を見れば、資金に対して何頭購入すれば良いか一目瞭然。
競走馬や騎手の情報を収集し、しっかり予算をたてて、3連複ボックスを効果的に購入しましょう。
軸馬が決まらない時は3連複ボックスがオススメ
軸馬が決まらない時は3連複ボックスがオススメです。
3連複ボックスは、競馬初心者のみならず上級者にも幅広く愛用されています。
無理やり軸馬を選んで外れるくらいなら、ボックス買いで幅広く賭けたほうが、的中率は高まるからです。
ダントツ人気の馬がいない時は特に、3連複ボックスがオススメです。

平均配当の2万円程度の的中を目指しましょう。
3連複6頭ボックスを10レース買い続けて1レース当たると、回収率100%を超えます。
1レース的中させると、プラスとなる期待値です。
堅いレースに上位人気6頭を購入すれば的中率は高まりますが、トリガミになる可能性も高くなります。
6頭ボックスの中に最低でも3頭は穴馬を入れるのがオススメの買い方です。
中穴になる確率が高いレースを選びましょう。

馬券のみに絞っても的中率はついてこないでしょう。
平均配当は20,000円超ですが、3連複の最高配当は6,952,600円です。
高額配当が平均配当を押し上げているので、出現数(レース)が多いわけではありません。
そこで狙うのが、出現率の多い5,000〜30,000円のゾーンです。
5,000〜30,000円ゾーンの出現率は36.0％のため、高配当にしては狙える確率といえます。
