ヒモ馬とは、「軸馬に対する相手(対抗馬)」のこと
ひと昔前までは、1着になると考えられる本命馬とは別に、「2着になる馬」を予想する時に使われていた言葉です。
このヒモ馬の予想精度が高ければ高いほど高額配当が狙い易いとされており、高額配当の的中を狙うならヒモ馬の予想はとても重要であると言えるでしょう。
1着になるであろう本命馬の予想は比較的簡単にできるとされていますが、2着になる馬を正確に予想・的中させることは非常に困難であると言われております。
なので、ヒモ馬の予想ができなければ高額配当を狙うことは難しいでしょう。
ヒモ馬を選ぶ時に気を付けなければならないのは、ヒモ馬は軸馬があってこそのもの、軸馬をしっかりと決められなければ、そもそもヒモ馬を予想することは不可能であるということを忘れないようにしてください。
競馬でヒモ馬は重要なの？
前述でも触れている通り、競馬での予想においてヒモ馬を予想することはとても重要であると言えます。
前述では高額配当を当てることに対して重要と話しましたが、高額配当を狙う以外にも、以下のようなメリットがあります。
・購入できる馬券の券種の幅が広がる
・マイナスになる可能性を軽減・抑えることができる
・3着以降の着順予想ができるようになる
このように、ヒモ馬を予想できるようになると勝率が上がったり、負け率を格段に抑えたりすることができるようになるようなメリットがあります。
なので競馬上級者を目指している人であれば、ヒモ馬を予想できるようになることは必須のスキルです。
ヒモ馬を選ぶポイント3選
ヒモ馬を選ぶ際に、重要なポイントは下記の3つです
・下位人気馬は選ばない
・実力以上の人気馬は選ばない
・ヒモ馬は5頭に絞る
それぞれを詳しく説明していきます。
下位人気馬は選ばない
最も簡単かつ効果のあるヒモ馬選びのポイントは、「人気のない馬を候補から消す」です。
人気がないということは、実力や実績などが他の出走馬に比べても明らかに低いということなので、2着や3着に入る可能性は極めて低いと言えます。
もちろん、なにかしらのアクシデントや場荒れが起きれば覆ることもありますが、運に左右される要素は完全に切り捨てて考えた方が良いでしょう。
また、下位人気の馬を予想に含めなければその分だけ購入すべき馬券を絞ることができます。
初心者の方は思い切って単勝人気の12番以下は切り捨ててもいいくらいです。
実力以上の人気馬は選ばない
過去の実績や直近の状態など、大して人気になるような理由がないのにも関わらず単勝人気が高い馬が稀にいます。
こうした馬は、血統が良い・高額な値で競り落とされた・評論家達からの前評判が良い、などの理由で人気になってしまうことが多いです。
人気と実力が伴っていないような馬はヒモ馬の候補からは外しておくべきと考えられます。
ヒモ馬は5頭に絞る
ヒモ馬を選ぶ際には、5頭程度に絞れれば十分です。
ある程度自身のある軸馬をしっかりと1頭に絞れていて、ヒモ馬を5点にすれば買い目の数も馬連で全通り買っても10点、三連単で全通り買っても60点で抑えることができます。
特に初心者の人は5頭程度に絞れるようになることを目標にし、慣れてきたらさらに絞る頭数を減らしていき、その予想が的中する精度が上がっていくというのが理想と言えるでしょう。
ヒモ馬が重要な券種
主にヒモ馬が重要になる券種は下記の3点です。
・馬単
・三連単
・三連複
ではそれぞれを詳しく説明していきましょう。
馬単
馬単は、「1着と2着になる馬の馬番号の組み合わせを着順通り当てる」
これまでに何度か触れている軸馬とヒモ馬の予想をもとに考えると、非常に当たる可能性の高い買い方になります。
またヒモ馬の選び方をこれから勉強していきたいと考えている方には一番オススメの券種です。
馬単が難しいと考える方は着順まで予想しなくてもいい馬連から始めてもいいかもしれません。
しかし馬連は予想が簡単になるため配当も少なくなるので買い目の数の調整には気をつけてください。
三連単
三連単は、「1着・2着・3着になる馬番号を着順通りに当てる」
3頭すべての着順を当てなければならないので予想して的中させるのは容易ではありませんが、的中した際は高額配当になりやすいというメリットがあります。
軸馬をしっかりと予想できていれば、2着3着になるヒモ馬を予想すれば良いのですが、3連単で購入する場合はある程度広い買い目で購入しましょう。
確実に1着2着3着になる馬を予想することは困難ですし、1点買いにしてしまうと的中率が下がり回収率も下がってしまう恐れがあります。
ヒモ馬さえしっかりと予想できるようになれば、回収率を大きく伸ばすことができるのが3連単と言えます。
三連複
三連複は、「1着・2着・3着になる馬の組み合わせを馬番号で当てる」
3連単は予想した着順通りにならなければいけませんが、3連複では予想した3頭の馬の着順は考える必要はありません。
軸馬・ヒモ馬の予想さえしっかりできていて、その精度が高ければ3連単よりも的中率は高いと言えるでしょう。
ただし、3連単同様に1点買いなどには注意が必要です。
3連単・3連複は、競馬初心者の人には予想が難しく中級〜上級者の人向けな券種と言えます。
ヒモ馬の3つの注意点
ヒモ馬を選ぶ際には以下の3点をしっかりと理解し、注意をしながら選びましょう。
・軸馬をしっかり予想すること
・予想候補から除外する馬の選定を優先
・単勝人気以外に枠連人気も見る
ではそれぞれを詳しく説明してきます。
軸馬をしっかり予想すること
先ほども説明しましたが、ヒモ馬を予想するうえで一番大事なのは、「軸馬」の存在です。
ちなみに、軸馬は連勝式の中で軸になれる馬のこと、連勝に絡んできそうな馬のことを指します。
なので軸馬が決まらない・見極められないうちはヒモ馬を決めることはほぼ不可能でしょう。
まずは軸馬を決められるように知識と経験を身につける必要があると言えます。
予想候補から除外する馬の選定を優先
軸馬を選ぶことが重要と説明しましたが、それと同時に、ヒモになる馬を選ぶ前に明らかに馬券には絡まないであろう馬を選ぶことを優先しましょう。
特に軸馬が決まっている場合には、ヒモ候補を絞っていくことで馬券購入の選択肢が減っていきます。
3連系の券種の場合なら、候補から1頭除外されるだけで数百〜数千通りの買い目を減らすことができるので、まずは除外候補から探してみてください。
単勝人気以外に枠連人気も見る
軸馬・本命馬を予想する時には大体がそのレースで最も人気の高い馬か2〜3番目に人気の高い馬を見るかと思います。
そして、その次に人気の高い馬、または9〜10番目ぐらいまでの人気馬をヒモ馬にすることが多いと思いますが、実は単勝オッズではさほど人気は高くないのに枠連では人気が高くなる場合があります。
こうした枠連で人気の高い馬はヒモ馬になり得る可能性が高いです。
もちろんそうした馬はヒモではなく軸として見れる場合もありますが、ヒモ馬を予想する時は、単勝オッズだけに頼らず枠連の人気も見た方が良いでしょう。
